Syria Update September 19, 2018 – my take on recent developments…

My deepest condolences to the loved ones of those who lost their lives both Russian and Syrian during the illegal attack on Syrian soil by Israel and possibly France on September 18.

The attack, which lasted over half an hour, came immediately after the announcement of a “Stabilization and De-escalation” agreement signed by Russia and Turkey regarding Idlib, the north-western province in Syria held by HTS – basically Al Qaeda in Syria, and several other terrorist groups including Uighurs from China. There are at least 10,000 Al Qaeda fighters there and 10,000-20,000 Uighurs. In addition, the other groups could include up to 10,000 – 30,000 or more fighters (accurate numbers are impossible – terrorists don’t take censuses.) Turkey maintains an illegal military presence there as well and supports tens of thousands of the ‘jihadis’. The agreement was approved by the Syrian government in full coordination with Damascus according to Syrian UN Ambassador Dr. Bashar al-Ja’afari and to the official media channel SANA. I’ve included the agreement in the photos below.

Elijah J. Magnier reported today that an un-announced aspect of the agreement was Turkey’s guarantee that no chemical weapons attack would be staged by terrorists in Idlib to set up a provocation for the US, UK, France and now Germany to bomb Syria. Given the number of US, UK, and Israeli operatives and assets assisting the terrorists in Idlib it is hard to imagine Erdogan of Turkey can be trusted to make such guarantees, particularly as he has been a major ally to many terrorist groups in Syria including ISIS and al Qaeda. He is a liar and a thug, a Muslim Brotherhood mafioso of the highest order. He also wants to claim Idlib for his own which coincides with the plans of Israel, the US and UK to subdivide Syria into smaller states so it cannot be strong enough to withstand Israeli ambitions for expansion in the region. Syria of course is determined to reclaim 100% of its lands from terrorists and illegal occupiers like Turkey, the US and Israel. https://ejmagnier.com/…/russia-usa-israel-iran-and-syria-a…/

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) the Russian plane was shot down as a result the Syrian Arab Army’s attempts to defend their homeland during the attack. Israel has made well over 100 such illegal strikes in violation of international law. The Russian military’s statement said an Israeli fighter jet was deliberately using the large Russian surveillance plane as a cover without the knowledge/consent of Russia. The MOD statement was clear: Russia blames Israel 100% for the loss of their people. https://www.rt.com/news/438690-russia-israel-il20-blame/

President Putin took a softer tone in his public address regarding the attack and resulting deaths. He did say he approved the MOD’s statement however which reiterates the MOD’s placing the blame squarely at Israel’s door. He also called for a thorough investigation. President Putin said the Russian reaction will first and foremost be to boost the security of Russian troops and facilities in Syria. The Kremlin press service reported that during his phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu, Putin stressed that these attacks were not only violations of Syria’s sovereignty but also in violation of Russian-Israeli agreements on incident prevention. The Russian MOD said Israel gave them less than a minute’s notice which was insufficient time to safeguard their IL-20 plane and crew; the agreements require hours of notice.

Putin has made it clear over the years that he is not interested in either joining Syria’s fight against Israel for Israel’s theft of the Golan Heights or in joining the Resistance countries and groups in their efforts on behalf of the Palestinians. He has also made it clear that he is not willing to play ‘cop’ for Israel regarding Iranian weapons shipments to Syria (as Magnier points out). It could easily be argued that Putin’s inaction against Israel for their illegal strikes is actually doing exactly that in addition to not sending the Syrians S-300 air defense systems after Netanyahu told him not to.https://southfront.org/russia-is-not-supplying-s-300-air-d…/

Where does this leave us? It’s a complicated, new dimension. Israel is notorious for these kinds of deceptions and the zionists who created and control it have proven since before 1948 to be ready, willing, able and unperturbed about killing allies in order to frame their enemies. There is a too-powerful pro-Israel lobby in Russia as there is in the US, UK, France, Germany and just about everywhere else…except in the countries the US is targeting for “freedom and democracy” like North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran and Syria.

According to a recent article in Mondoweiss, “The Israeli government has recently claimed that it can ‘legislate anywhere in the world’, that it is ‘entitled to violate the sovereignty of foreign countries’, and that ‘is allowed to ignore the directives of international law in any field it desires’. This was written in an official response letter to the Supreme Court last month.” https://mondoweiss.net/…/legalize-landgrab-…/comment-page-1/

Sources I’ve come to trust in Syria because they’ve been proven right again and again, are saying the deal between Russia and Turkey is not bad even though no one trusts Erdogan of Turkey in any way. In the meantime, the Syrian Arab Army is continuing its strikes against terrorists in northern Lattakia and Jisr al-Shughour in Idlib where the Uighurs predominate and only time will tell if Putin realizes – and acts on the reality – that Israel is an ally to no one but “partnership” with the zionists equals a only a master-slave relationship. He is under tremendous pressure with NATO aggression in Europe against him including unrelenting propaganda and accusations and in regards to Syria trying to stop an all-out conflagration that may bring all the NATO armies against him, Syria, Iran and Hezbollah.

The most succinct summation in my opinion came in a tweet from @Partisangirl today:

“Whatever the news tells you, you must flip it around to get the truth. They (Israel and US, UK, France etc) aren’t bombing Syria because they want to destroy Iran, they’re angry with Iran because it’s preventing them from destroying Syria.”

More on that in a future post.

So personally, I’m just going to keep trusting Syria and see what happens next.
